Tutorial for Signet Address

Step #1. Downloading an Installation Package

Install for Linux

1. Open the terminal and enter the following command to download the file start.sh

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chainx-org/threshold_signature_api/main/signet/Linux/start.sh -o start.sh

2. In terminal, enter the following command to start up

sh start.sh

Install for Mac

1. Open the terminal and enter the following command to download the file start.sh

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chainx-org/threshold_signature_api/main/signet/Mac/start.sh -o start.sh

2. In terminal, enter the following command to start up

sh start.sh

Install for Windows

1. Download the bitcoin-22.0-win64.zip file in SignetSource
2. Double-click to decompress, click on the start.bat file to start up

Step #2. Generate Signet Address

1. Click [Hide] and wait for synchronization completed.

2. Click [Create a wallet] and name your wallet.

3. Click on the [Receive] tab, and generate your address.

Step #3: Get Private Key for Generated Address

1. Click [Windows] and access to [Console]

2. Select [dumpprivkey] and plus your own address to save the private key
